Thanks to everyone for being a part. It was great to see everone there! It was a chalange to get the games in close to ontime. excelent work by the coaches and Game officals!

I want to welcome all of you to our 2008 Opening day this Saturday starting at 8:15 am Sharp at Sothside. This will be our last before the Club Moves to the new Complex for next season. As the Director of Coaching and Player Development (DOC), I am thrilled with the excitement and support every has shown. The Board and your President have done a fantastic job of getting the fields ready for this season. As you know we are at 2 locations for Games. Please give yourself enough time to get from location to location. We will have a field Marshal at each location for opening day. We will also have a Uniform Assistant who will have a limited number of Uniforms to swap for size issues. I will have our new training Curriculum for the Under 6 and Under 8 coaches. This has taken almost a year to produce and will remain a work in progress. Thanks to everyone for being a part in River City Soccer.
Reminder first team listed the Home team and they wear Blue and the second listed is visiting team and they wear Red.
Hope you have a wonderful day. Keep in mind there will be some bugs with the new uniform look. Please make sure your teams have a sign so they can find you. Come early for your game and be sure to know the field number its on. In a few weeks we will all get used to it. If you get lost or need help, go tot the Field Marshal's tent.

To all,
What a wonderful opening day. To lookout and see hundreds of players, parents and coaches waiting to start the season was a joy! Thanks to everyone who made today work. This goes from the scheduling committee, to the age group coordinators, to the uniform committee, to the registration committee, to the coaches and team mangers. I want to thank the Board and their late night volunteers who were at the fields late Friday night painting lines in the rain. I want to thank the Field marshes for helping to make today flow. Special thanks to our Referee assignor and all of the game officials. You did a wonderful job keeping the games moving, not bad for Opening day. I would also like to thank everyone who helped with the concession stand.
The new look with the uniforms was fantastic. The car decals were a hit and the Hamburgers were as good as ever. This will be our last opening day away from the new complex. The grass is Growing, but there is still much work that needs to be done. We still need donations as we need lights, a concession stand, a Bathroom and equipment. There are 2 great ways you can help out.
1 Buy a New Car from Carl Gregory. With each new car Purchased RCSC receives $1000.
2 set yourself up as a member of the RCSC Construction crew. We need your help!
As we walk on the field of life, can we stop for a moment to see the joy of those we touch. Are we able to glimpse the possibilities of tomorrow while enjoying the moments of today?
