Mike, just asking so we have the correct info out there. We have been doing the all stars in the fall and the tourney in the spring. Are we fliping that or doing away with one. I have been telling everyone for months that we had all stars this fall, is this not correct. We Did it last fall at Garrett Stadium. I am asking because Several folks have asked in passing. Please advise so we all know what to expect. Thanks for all you do. Robert Shellhouse

LOOKS LIKE WE ARE WAITING ON THE BOARD TO DECIDE WHAT PROGRAM THE CLUB IS DOING, DOESN'T APPEAR THERE IS ANYTHING IN THE WORKS. THERE HAS BEEN SOME TALK ABOUT IT BUT I AM NOT SURE WHAT HEATHER HAS DECIDED YET. HOWEVER, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ALREADY AND THE INFO OUT IF THERE WERE ALL STARS THIS SEASON. I SUGGEST TO E-MAIL THE PRESIDENT AND ASK HER, I AM SURE SHE WILL RESPOND. SHE IS WORKING VERY HARD.

Mike Carmean, the director of coaching has suggested we move all stars to spring and the tournament to the fall. So therefore things have not been in play for the fall especially with deer season starting November 22nd and our season being pushed back. The board is meeting Wednesday November 12 to disucss the changes and the calendar for the spring season. We are going to hear his reasons and make a decision based on what is best for our rec program We are getting a head start on spring season so everything will flow smoother as far as teams forming earlier to begin practice weeks before the season begins. After the meeting tonight I will know much more. I will provide an update on the forum so all members of the club will know what we are working on. Also if anyone is interested in volunteering on a committee please email me or Nadean Dalton, chair of the committee. We will need help in making the upcoming season a complete success. We appreciate any help offered even if in a small capacity.

RCSC board met Wednesday November 13th. We finalized a time line for the spring season. Early registration will begin soon. Be on the lookout for the calendar posting on the website soon. Please take note that the deadlines for registration are FIRM because we are going to start on time with practices at least 2-3 weeks before the season. The board is meeting again with the DOC on Novemberto discuss any changes for the All Stars and Tournament. It is very important that we hear his suggestions for the changes.He has more experience with soccer than all of us put together and gets his ideas from very experienced directors within US Soccer Association. His suggestions are in the best interest of the club long term. We will plan a preseason meeting for the board, DOC, coaches and parents. This will be an opportunity for the parents to give their input and suggestions. This date will be posted on the website weeks before the event. Board members will be handing out flyers to current coaches this weekend about an early registration strictly for coaches. If you are interested in coaching please see a board member or ask at the concession stand. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday for double headers and our final weekend.
